Prescription Process

It starts with a prescription

To start using pharmacyHUB for online prescriptions and delivery you will need to ask your GP/Online Doctor/Existing Pharmacist to send your prescription to the pharmacist at PharmacyHUB. Please note our healthmail email is pharmacyhub.kilkenny and your GP will need this to send the prescription securely to us!

It is important for each patient to be aware that Prescriptions are now normally sent electronically by your GP/online doctor or hospital to your chosen pharmacy.

GPs and PharmacyHUB use a system called Healthmail to exchange prescriptions digitally.

So next time you are with your GP/Online Doctor ask them to send your prescription to our secure healthmail email. Please note our healthmail email is pharmacyhub.kilkenny

If you ask your GP/Online Doctor to send your prescription to PharmacyHUB, please email us to let us know!! Alternatively click on Transfer my Prescriptions and fill in your details and we will get in touch.

Moving a prescription from a pharmacy to pharmacyHUB

If you are a patient with another pharmacy and you want to move your prescription to pharmacyHUB, all you have to do is click transfer my prescription and fill in the details. We will then assist you with the move and do the hard work for you.

Prescription received by PharmacyHUB

Once pharmacyHUB receives your prescription from your GP, pharmacyHUB will contact you when the prescription is ready.

Payment & Delivery

Once your prescription is ready, you will receive an email with a payment link to pay securely. You can also find this payment link on our website under Make a Payment. Once the prescription has been paid for, your order will be dispatched immediately to DPD who are our delivery partner. Don’t worry we use discreet packaging for your order.
